Just knew it would not be an OOB build engine looking sweet and much better for all the small additions

I knew that you knew that................

Well I didn't want to let you down

Thanks guys, it's your encouragement that helps me to keep stretching myself

I've got to admit that I was surprised to see that Meng put all that effort into the engine and then put two closed doors over it. They must be the only doors/hatches that don't offer the choice of open or closed............. go figure :hmmm:

You knew that was never going to happen, so a bit of scratching and we have a couple of open doors or my interpretation of same. They appear to me to be a two part door the bottom flap opens up over the upper and then the whole lot swings up. The central panel in each section is an asbestos mat.

Note I wont be fixing these until the units ready to fix and I know its not going to clash with anything on the roof, hence the tape

Thanks for looking in

The way this build is going, I can see myself getting suckered into getting this kit and I haven't bought a tank kit in over forty years!

Not sure if you can do it but would it be worth installing an LED inside the body of the tank to make sure there is enough light to be able to see the wonderful work you are doing.  Stand the tank on a base and hide the power source there...  If you choose a miniature led with a yellow cast it might add a bit of atmosphere to the scene...

Small update, though it seems a lot has been going on.............

Drivers position now in place, chassis still to be weathered

Well that's coming on a treat Kev mate.

Like the hatch idea on the engine, more Idea's please, did mine engine hatchs closed, yours is much better, also like the paint job over all.

Those seats look comfortable but were not in the real thing, noisy and death traps from fumes.

Cheers foxy.

Very brave men to be sitting in one of these things what with all the shells and bullets going off outside as well   :poppy:

Detailing looking good though

nice weathering on those seats. Believably buttocked !

A bit like me then! Sorry armour types, some of us escaped when they let Longshanks out from the maritime section. We'll go away when he has finished this build: promise!
