As post-WWII subjects quarter scaler, I confess being not impressed by the Zvezda's 2017 aircraft kits programme.

But be aware Zvezda is probably still slowly recovering from the sudden death of its founder, owner and charismatic boss, Konstantin Krivenko, in the Summer 2014 (http://spottinground.com/founder-zvezda-konstantin-krivenko-passes-away/). Try to imagine Eduard without Vladimír Šulc!

Furthermore Zvezda it's much more than plastic kits: http://www.zvezda.org.ru/

"I mean as a post WWII subjects quarter scaler... "

Yes I can understand that, but as a 1/72 jet scaler and 1/144 airliners scaler I'm pretty happy :D

But you still have Airfix, and also maybe Trumpeter, Revell, Hasegawa; Eduard etc... We'll see what they have for you ^_^

Another disappointing catalogue by Zvezda (3rd in a row).

Long time ago they announced snap-fit kit of La-7, at the time when Ju 87, Fw 190 and Me 109F were just announcements as well, but they never mentioned it again.

Also no new MiG-29 9.12 and no further Su-27 family kits.

All in all, great disappointment.

Yes, I would have been glad to see a new 1/72 snap-fit kit of any Russian single-engined fighter of the GPW to the same standard as their excellent Yak-3, but I guess I'm going to have to wait a bit longer, unless they plan some surprises!

Excellent news on 1:72 Yak-130. Only other 1:72 kit was from Amodel of the prototype.

Wont say no to the 1:72 MiG-29SMT either.

I'll say yes to both ! Belarus Yak-130 !

Thanks I didn't notice that.    Still very thin on the ground for new ships though.  I was hoping for some new Armada ships.

Just need Begemot to make a decal sheet.

Hopefully Zvezda will be wise enough to include Belarusian markings into the kit. For instance, Revell tends to offer markings for neighbour countries whenever possible :)
