The stuff dreams are made of.

jejeje It's the perfect sentence for this work, from the movie "The Maltese Falcon" ...

... Ward Bond asks for the coveted statuette and Humphrey Bogart replies, "It's, uh, the stuff that dreams are made of".

Thanks!!!

I've never seen anything like this before - beautiful! I appreciate your conventional building and painting skills but the breaking through of the falcon is outstanding both in concept and execution. I nominate this "Model of the Year"

i'm very grateful for your kinds words!!! I'm not sure if i would make it such a bit deal!!

:thanks:

Hi,

the Spitfire part of the build is fantastically executed and perfectly weathered.

The allegorical side pertaining to the falcon of Malta leaves me cold and unfortunately in my eyes destroys what would have been a great build.

Having said that, you shouldn't give a toss about what I think, as this type of fantasy is purely a matter of personal taste.

I shall be waiting for a "normal" build, which I am sure will be superb!

Hi Jean, like i use to say, this is not a "normal" model-work and i realize that not everybody like it. jejee .. i understand it!!

I like to contribute with something different, another "point of view" of this hobby. How you can see in this forum (and in the rest of the medal forums), the most modelers works like a conventional way and if you like that, you can enjoy hundreds of beautiful spits build by this way. Sorry but i'm pretty sure that i'm not going to do a "normal" build .. at least in the near future. :D
