Upholder (P37) Camouflage

Evening all,

 

Does anyone have a clear idea of what the paint scheme would have been on Upholder in her pomp please?

 

I've seen/heard that green over green is possible, also blue over red or all over one shade of blue-grey. I would very much like to pop my little U-class in for the current Mediterranean GB but have never reached a conclusive answer on her appearance.

I have the Profile Warship for Upholder - ill scan it for you specially

 

as usual the Joy of windows 10 stops me saving the rotated version !

 

anyway , any more questions please ask ( I have the book )

Check the colour PB10, which I believe is available from Sovereign Hobbies.

First saw that lovely artwork in one of those old Purnells' History of World War II partwork specials many many years ago. Nice to see it again.

Hi Graham, thank you for the mention. PB10 isn't actually directly available, but going back to WEM days John Snyder provided a formula for mixing PB10:
