Collin
Revell/Monogram 1/48 ALMOST OOB. With all the .50 cals on the aircraft, had to replace those with aftermarket. Obviously the props are from Propblur.com...other than that, she is OOB. I threw in a pilot and top turret gunner to keep him company. Areas I still need to improve are in the final stages and for sure my canopy work. I mask with BMF, and it seems after all the gloss coats/weathering/matt coats I don't get a clean canopy frame when I finally peel the BMF off. Was a fun build, but does require some sweat...for sure around the lower wing/engine gap. Careful cutting and grinding away of plastic in these area does make for less of a gap to fill. Comments and questions welcome. Need to go fix that crooked .50 cal on the nose....be right back. exhausted
I really like it. The presentation is great. I can see what you mean though with the cockpit framing being a bit rough on the port side. Masking can bite you sometimes, but carefully applying very thin coats should bring it to where you want it.

Thom216
Great job. She looks amazing, and those prop blurs lend a dynamic 'action' to the shot. Pretty cool.

MADMUSKY
Nice job, I've got this in the stash to build, my only criticism is you painted the framing on the top turret when it wasn't painted in real life just glued together. Darren

Darren Yeah...the painting of the top turret frame is a confusing topic. I looked over some photos on warpath B-25's and saw they had painted frames, along with the armor plate to the rear of the top turret gunner....so I painted it up. http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/thread/1196615682/B25J+Top+Turret http://www.maam.org/airshow/b25_turret.htm Cheers Collin
noelh
Can't criticise your production. Really excellent work. Love B25s. I kinda cuddled one at this year's Oskhosh. But I'm no fan of the scheme. The nose artwork overly dominates the model, cartoon like. Of course it's realistic. But I do dislike special schemes particulary modern special schemes. None of this takes away from your model which perfectly captures the spirit of the B25. Brilliant.
