Smer MS-406

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Here is my latest model, an ancient heller kit produced by Smer. I have to admit that I have a weakness to vintage heller kits and that is why I occasionally bought this one. It however turned out to be not so accurate and the molding itself is already quite worn.

Anyway I managed to finish it somehow.

So here it is, pictures are poor, photographing is not my best skill

In my country we said that it is impossible to make from old lady a young girl........hm.....with this model you manage to do that.

Simply BEAUTIFUL, from details, color variations, weathering, chipping....amazing what you done with this old model.

Yes really beautiful !!!

The Morane-Saulnier MS-406 was perhaps not very performing at the

Battle of France, because it already was obsolete but the Vichy markings are really outstanding, and it looks

more performing that it really was.

Great model !!!  :clap2:

Another good job Stinger. A great model as Polo says.  These older Heller kits really have some appeal. :goodjob:

The French used some vivid colours on their fighters and you have captured this very well.:goodjob:

Excellent work, the painting and weathering is superb particularly around the wheel wells.

Great job on this old kit, well build and detailed with a good deal of weathering.

I have a soft spot for old kits and including Heller too, most of their kits are still clean and well molded but they need something like what Hornby has done with Airfix.

The french aviation is full of interesting types.
