No. You have to cut rear part of original P-51B in panel line and replace by the new rear part. New sprue contains rear part of fuselage and pylons with drop tanks.

Good news on the drop tanks/pylon, shame about the cut and shut fin fillet, I'll most likely make a mess of that!

thanks

Mike

Nice to see the Cessna 180/185 on the list. I hope they sell well and you will be encouraged to release the Cessna 150/152 and 172.

The Avro Tutor is nice, as I missed it last time.

It that your first Me-109K? I have been waiting for a decent K.

Fine Molds have had a decent Bf109K out for years, I have 2 in the stash....... Not quite as expensive as you might think if you get them from HLJ.

thanks

I ended up with the second K-4 by accident, I was trying to buy a G-10 but there you go! I'll wait and see what the AZ G-10 will be like now. If you order something form HLJ that's out of stock, they usually get it back in stock within a few weeks.

thanks

Well, nice to have something more news for the Eastern front than just the Lavotskin! H-75A seems to be waited also others. Will it be a new tool or former SH/Azur? Will there be both engines variants, retractable and fixed gear etc?

Cheers,

AaCee

Good morning gentlemen.

I had to write down remarks before my answers as there is a lot of questions....

So -

thank you all for the very nice overview of existing Bf 109K kits.... :-)  Our kit is partially based on our 109G kit with completely new HQT moulded fuselage and other necessary parts. Do not ask me what parts as I do not know this detail from development dept.

Cesna Crane/Bobcat - we are owners of Pavla masters and Bobcat will be based on it. I repeat based. It will be upgraded and changed where we know about issues. Don´t be afraid of plastic quality, we use another one than Pavla used. This kit is a release of the second half of the year.

Kingfisher is the same as above. But we made big changes in the kit, we practically used shapes only. Decals are ready longer time, if I remember good US float, US wheels and RAF/RAAF boxing.

Cessna 150/152 - if 180/182 will make good numbers, 150/152 is in the pipeline. Not sure with 172.

P-36 is our kit, nothing common with SH kits. As I did not start to design decals (and it is not clear today if I will do it) I do not have the role in my head. What I know is the fact that there will be two fuselages.

MiG-23BN/UB - kit is from cleaned RV moulds with our new parts.  I will post (or somebody) photos of these parts later. MiG-27 - we were looking at it, but it is completely different aircraft. Not good chances to do it.

SIAI 260, Robinsons - these kits will be designed (In fact Robinson is in the process of milling) in 3D and done by CAD/CAM.

I also noticed that somebody wanted FD-2 in 1/72nd scale...... Hmmm. There is one or two slots free..... :-)

Have a nice day all.

Regarding your 1/72 Free slot - I vote for a de Havilland Venom - single seater!!

I know I've pestered you before about this, however if we vote this up, will you at least consider it?

Cheers .. Dave

AZ's releases for 2017 could slim my already skinny bank account  :(.

The SF 260 is a nice surprise. Will there also be the turbo versions?

The 'Warrior' has found itself in some pretty 'hot' and clandestine ops; a fascinating subject.

The P-36, Cessnas, Kingfisher, G-12, re-release of the Prefect, Grumman, all very welcome :thumbsup2: .

I know it's good to have injection moulded, I can't help but feel a bit 'odd' regarding the rather nice Khee Kha Cessna 185. I like supporting teensy specialist producers like Khee Kha. I guess the AZ will actuallly be cheaper and appeal to those that don't like vac-form. An OOB RAAF version would be nice :).

I really like the Bf 109 K-4 (no idea why - it just looks purposeful, although it apparently was a bit of a donkey), and last year did buy a Fine Molds kit. This competition from AZ should be interesting :boxing:. The old Heller is still a nice basis for one with a bit of re-scribing, but I'm  looking forward to seeing this new kid on the block.

Good stuff.

Pity that you might not do this as it would possibly be the only true one in this scale.

RAF/RAAF Kingfisher?  Sounds good to me!

Shame about the MiG-27, don't think there's a remotely accurate one out there.

As for the spare slots....I know you've talked about the MB.3, but how about the Miles M.20, the Arsenal VG 33 family or a good Ta-152?

Bobcat/Crane "based" on the Pavla kit, but not a re-issue of it.  That brings a smile to my face.  Looking forward to it being released.  Same for the P-36?H-75.  Two different fuselages tells me that a number of variants will be coming out in good time.  There goes some more of my money.  Any word on when the LVG C.VI will be released?

Later,

Dave

Please do not ask me about LVG...., simply for the fact our moulder is working on it more than seven months. And I do not have any info with the deadline. Unfortunately. I hope we can count it in days.... We will inform at the moment we have it and the supply to Mr. Hannant will be ASAP.

Hi Jan,

All great things to read about. It seems you are going to be and have been very busy! It's great that you still take the time to answer our questions and let us shoot ideas at you. Of course you can't please everyone all the time but economics must prevail and I believe you are in the best position to understand what is viable in the market.

Even though you might read that some are let down by not having a kit released there is still many of us who are silently excited and happy to see news. :coolio:

Thanks modelglue.....

We already modernised our CAD/CAD centre and have a new moulder, so I hope we can fulfill all we promised.

I will show you some new renders and some built prototypes of our new coming items, stay tuned please...

You're very welcome Jan,

Regarding free slots and Pavla. Is it within reasonable possibility to acquire F7F Tigercat moulds from said company to start your own line? We had touched upon it before and I am curious after reading about your ownership of Ex-Pavla subjects.

The Kingfisher has me pretty excited.

Cheers to all!
