Hi Jan, I noticed one little problem with the Swallow, but it is more of a problem with the instructions than the kit itself. The instructions have you put in the concave fairing just behind the firewall (Part 13? I don't have the instructions with me right now) AFTER the fuselage halves are put together. I tried that and it won't fit properly. It the sides would stick down way below the bottom of the fuselage. I looked at the same part from the Roden Sopwith Camel parts tree, and it would be the same thing. There was plenty of room so I tried putting it in from the top and the fit there is good enough where I don't need to do any filling. It seems to me that this part should actually be put in BEFORE the fuselage halves are joined together. If I get a chance to work on it some more tomorrow, I'll be putting the cockpit fairing and front cabane struts in. Even with the cockpit fairing in place you can still see the fuel tank I added behind the seat. Later, Dave P.S. 24 June 20 - I checked and it is actually part 14, not part 13, that should glued into position before joining the fuselage halves. Homebee
About the box art of your soon to release rebox from the 1/72nd Italeri Mi-24 kit published here: http://www.modelarovo.cz/mil-mi-24-1-72-kp-kovozavody-prostejov/ - What about the Mi-24D/V chin-mounted gun? - Czech Republic AF s/n 730815 is a Mi-24V "Hind-E" and not a Mi-24D "Hind-D". By the way this original - and rather inaccurately shaped - Italeri kit from 1992 (!) tries to represent the Mi-24V "Hind-E", not the Mi-24D "Hind-D", no matter what the box tops state. V.P. Jan Polc
Homebee - missing gun - is a mistake. We asked to make boxarts and Carlos took the photo without the gun as a base. And we did not notice. Sorry. Anyway - can you answer me - is this fact so serious that the kit is not possible to build? No discussion about D and V version - yes, you are right but - name me visible differencies between these two versions. There is practically no one. In fact, Czech version was Mi-35.... And, yes, Italeri kit has some issues. Our rebox is for children, we understand that Zvezda kit is better, but we target another customer group. Hope this explanation is big enough. I wish you pleasant weekend gentlemen. Jan

Jan Polc
Dutchplanes - we hope that line of Cessnas and Aero 304 will be released this year. Telling truth, big portion of capacity is consumed by the project L-29 Delfin in 1/32 scale.

Jan Polc
gavingav - there is only some hundred sets left in the stock... so, re-edition is not possible, but whole rest of stock was bought by a new company Sabrekits, specialised in collectors series of 100 kits of various subjects. Their release will include Valom Hampden with AZ clear parts, two decals sheets - AZ and Avalon, 9 decal options in total and canopy masks. I will give you more information at the moment they start their activities. mike romeo - I think that Chris from SAM magazine will inform you very early about the master of the kit... 🙂

Proto-Dambusters 49 Sqn. raid against the Dortmund-Ems canal, first Bomber Command VC, and all that... Ps: Would a re-release of the Tr.9 two-seat Spits be possible for 2021? Jan Polc
SABREKITS Hampden is using existing items, decals from the kit (3 variants of markings) and AVALON sheet (6 variants). Unfortunately above mentioned A/C is not included. Spitfire Tr. 9 is on the way, that boxing with Spit covered with popeye flowers.

Jazzie
Mmmm! I just wonder if you will be releasing a dedicated Loganair boxing with the many schemes their 340s have worn. BA, Flybe and now Tartan Tails would all hit the spot for me. And if successful enough, where would you go with this range? I would love to see D.328(Scot Airways/CityJet/Loganair), various dash-8(Brymon/BA/FlyBe), ATR-42-300/500(Blue Island/Aurigny/Loganair) and Fokker 50.(VLM/CityJet) just for starters. After that, Shorts 360s, Jetstream 31 and 41, BAe 146. If there was enough demand, would 1/144 be considered along the way at some time? Stay Safe, Geoff. PS, have a requirement for a fleet of Cessna 152s so any news on when they will be available?

Jan Polc
Jazzie - you have hit in all mentioned... 🙂 Petr asked me to create that tartan tails...., I am not so much happy as decal designer. What I know, that line is planned to be a good supplement to Herpa die casts in the same scale. It is a try. And - to 1/144 scale of the same subjects - did you notice that SAABs are 3D designed...? 🙂 But I did not tell no word about.
Dutchplanes
Sorry Jan, you are a commercial firm. But the money you are waisting can't be used for much more needed objects, Hans
Jan Polc
Dutchplanes - yes, you are right. We are commercial company. Somebody here believe, that this project will bring money. As I said, it is a try. This new line is not my cup of tea, really. I am collecting snap-fit kits you can buy on board of airliners (when carriers are flying), but these are usually in 1/200 scale. Die cast Herpa kits seems to me a little bit expensive. Maybe collectors will buy these new kits to enrich their collections. When discussing the line, I told my opinion, that collectors are not modelers and it is not easy to give them construction kit as they collect but not build the kits. But there was very popular line of Dubena/SiKu kits in 1/250 scale. Yes, history, but, who knows. New projects - do not be afraid, we will continue in our normal lines..., La-5F is coming in two new boxings, DH Hornet is ready, Bf 109E will come in September, there are two more WWII fighters on the table, Bf 109G-10/14 with revised fuselage is coming.... And more and more. Yes, also Cessnas...
