Stew Dapple
Congratulations to Mr. Reinis, that really is a beautiful example of box-art Cheers, Stew
Rabbit Leader
Yes I concur, excellent Boxart. I would also suggest that suburb images like this will also help the volume of upcoming sales so please make sure that this kit is produced in adequate quantities to meet (what I expect and you hope) to be large worldwide demand. It would also be nice to see it available at my LHS, however suspect that I’ll have to add the equivalent price of yet another kit just to cover the shipping costs to get it down my way. Cheers.. Rabbit Leader
Thanks for the link Jan. Now unless I’m mistaken, shouldn’t the Grosvenor House red Comet have white decals rather than gold? Besides that, these kits look quite smooth looking which could be a true representation of the real aircraft. I’m no DH88 expert but they do look rather nice. Cheers.. Dave The original markings were silver. The restored plane has always had them done incorrectly in white, which was apparently a conscious change that was made. This is the first time they have been done in the correct original colour. Look back at the February postings on this thread.
Rabbit Leader
Thanks for pointing this out. @Roger Holden. Although I’ve been following this thread I must have missed this important piece of ‘Silver Registration’ info. Now for anyone else who may have missed it, the post is on Page 37, post #925 and is clearly explained. It may take a while for my head to get around this change, but I’m glad I now know. Cheers.. Jan Polc
Gentlemen, we are still solving Modelarovo.cz malware problem. Sorry for that, the code is more strong than we expected. I have got some e-mails regarding the release date of Spitfire Mk. Vc, Bf 109K and Z-37 Cmelak. So, if everything is going OK, we will introduce these kits on KitSaloon kit show - 16/06/2018 here in Czech Republic for the first time. I think we can expect that the first delivery will reach UK at the end of June. The first boxes to be released - Spitfire Mk. Vc "Four barrels over Malta" - camouflages for spits with four cannons over Malta. Bf 109K will be released in the version K-4 and will include aircraft from 1/JG 52, 2/KG 6 and 9/JG 53 units. On the same date we will release two more MiGs - MiG-21bis in two boxes. For all of you who are interested in 1/48 scale kits - there is new kit of ZLIN Z-381 (in Czechoslovakia built Bucker 181 after WWII ). And if I remember well I have seen another boxing of L-5 Sentinel 1/72 somewhere in the office... 🙂 So, stay tuned friends.
