F4u
Well here is my third Naval aircraft and as I said it was fixed wing and modern, an enjoyable build painted with Vallejo Acrylics, love the look of the Rafale. mcdonnell
Hello,Guy - Well,my friend, this is what I call a ravishing 'Rafale'! My full compliments to you on a beautifully built and finished example of this type.I love the quality of the paintwork and the subtle shading effect. She looks perfectly balanced by only having the external tanks fitted.I love it. "Fine Fettling indeed!" All the very best,Paul.

Hi Paul, Thanks for taking a look, I wanted to do a cleanish looking jet with no weapons hanging off it to show of the futuristic lines and I thought the tanks was a happy compromise I have missiles for the wing tips which I will fit at some point, it was an OOB build with a little shading and a dark wash to bring out the panel lines. All the Rafales I have seen are not that dirty . Thankyou for the kind words. Now what is the next one ? I have an F-4 with Turkish decals !!!!! F4u
Ok it's been decided the 1/48 ESCI F-4E/F will be the next one out of the stash, it will be done as a E model of the Turkish Airforce one with the shark teeth well more like the wart hog teeth ! Well it's ESCI so it will not be an accurate Phantom but I'm not botherd as long as it looks somthing like a Phantom ! Thankyou to everyone who commented on the Rafale it really does give me loads of enthusiasm . Guy
