In addition to the Citroen there's the Transit, VW Type 1, Toyota Hi-Ace, Chevy van, plus lots more I need to think of Yes! I was just thinking about a VW T1 in Guinness colors! Or other delivery colors The same for Citroën type H. If you need ideas, I have a lot! Regards, Lolo

mbdesignart Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Following a discussion here is some relevant information on the 'ORIGINAL' tyre sizes as fitted to the H Van. I will measure those supplied in the kit tomorrow and post my findings after some calculations. My brain hurts now "The Citroen H van tyres available from the factory were 17r400 and the taller 19r400. The later tyre gave the effect of raising the gearing with more relaxed cruising/higher top speed. The smaller 17r400 tyres were used to lower the Gearing slightly, for example on the Diesel vans or those with very high payloads. The overall diameter of a 19r400 is about 28.4 inches and the 17r400 around 27.3. Width in each case, side wall to side wall is around 190-195mm." 19r400 - 721.36 mm od > 30.05 @ 1/24 17r400 - 693.42 mm od > 28.89 @ 1/24 width +-192 mm > 8.0 @ 1/24 Measurements off kit tyre = 28.0 od x 7.9 [all mm] This suggests the kit tyre is ever so slightly smaller than true scale size for the 17r400 version. Here is a link to the only tyre currently available in the real world to fit the stock rims http://shop.citroenclassics.co.uk/h-van-tyre-17r400-vredestein-1561-p.asp Edited January 6, 2017 by mbdesignart more info
