It was being sold with no box and unchecked , but for a tenner plus postage I thought it was worth a punt . Just had it all out for checking and it's missing one wheel (I'll cast a replacement) and the tailgate glass (I'll cut one from clear sheet) . To say I'm delighted with this would be a massive understatement . That's a great and very rare find, lucky for you the missing parts are fairly easy to re-create. Will be lovely to see this built. I just did the Sunbeam Rapier as a favour to a fellow club member. It was missing the lights and one side glass, as you say, fairly easy to overcome. I used Molotow for the chrome, it turned out quite nicely in the end. Atb, Steve. 2
Neddy Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 That's one amazing find, you're right to be delighted. There's a complete on currently on FleaBay priced at £200. Rare as 🦄💩!
Sabrejet Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 I have bought so much resin lately that I've lost track. But I do remember receiving Provence Moulage's Chaparral 2G and Mini Racing's Joest Porsche 936CJ in the post. It's OK - I can give it up any time. Or I could. The trigger is already cocked for the new MFH Abarth 1000LM. Might need a few appetizers while I'm waiting for that. But it's OK - I can give it up any time. 2
Neddy Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 Just acquired this pre-owned from KingKit for not-very-much-at-all plus postage... Generally I'm not a fan of BMWs but this has always been one of the very few exceptions - I love the comparatively non-testosterone-infused styling and those doors....ooooh those doors....are the ultimate in cool IMHO. The kit itself dates back to the 1980s and looks it - yellowed instruction sheet and very weathered box - but it's checked and guaranteed complete by KingKit (I love those guys) and for a tad less than twenty smackers I couldn't resist it. 10
Redstaff Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 I've been after these for a while, but didn't want to pay the extortionate prices people were asking. Stumbled across these on the Kentmodels site at a good price, so they had to be mine 😀 9
Windy37 Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 It’s been a while since I last bought this classic kit . This is for a future project 😉 Gary . 5

That's how huge stashes are made after all I'll look forward to it hitting the top of the pile though all the same. 1
Windy37 Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 When I say " a while " @Spiny I reckon it will be getting on for 25 years ago ! I built a few of this shape Imprezza for my mates and got completely fed up of it . So a revisit after all this time will be interesting . Itll be later in the year though . Gary . 1

Love this model, I have the same one in my ever growing stash. I had this shape (though mine wasn't a turbo, but previous owner had fitted turbo body kit, and it was a 4-door) so I'm toying with the idea of turning it into a road version. the same colour as mine. I miss that car every day, even if it was a little rough around the edges. Best drive I've ever had. 5
Southern_northerner Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Picked this up today (high chance from somebody off here) very much looking forward to starting this. SN 7

triumphfan Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 I haven't seen this before. Never realised Tamiya did an IM kit of the Enzo. Probably seen it but not registered fully as it's a bit modern for my tastes. Am I right in thinking they sold these as ready built models? Atb, Steve.

triumphfan Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 A few recent purchases. El Camino from our LMS, bit of an impulse buy but I already have an idea of colour, wheels, etc 😊 70 Super Bee is a recent re-release and will sit nicely alongside my 69 version already built. This will be yellow and black, I've already started it! Another Escort MkII for an upcoming conversion project. Atb, Steve. 11
keefr22 Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 They all look interesting Steve, looking forward to the projects - especially the Mk2...!! Keith 1

Spiny Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 Once again I've been forced into adding to the stash (for the same reason as last time when I got the Charger). This time it was one I've had my eye on for a while but never quite pushed the button - this time I did. First Beemax kit to boot. I have to say that first impressions are favourable with the exception of some of the translation to English in the instructions (which lives up to all the stereotypes). Mind you, that's still better than my Chinese, or Portuguese come to think of it. 5

Yeah, I have the MGB and E-Type too should be a nice display once I have built them all. I used to own the latest reissue of the TR4A but it had so much flash I sold it. This one looks a lot better. 1

I don't usually build in 1/32 but I did buy the 420G last year to pose alongside a DH Rapide. It was a trip down memory lane. There was also the Rapier built for a friend a few weeks ago, it has sort of made me excited to see what old moulds Airfix will clean up and re-pop next 🤔 Back in the day, we used to build them as custom cars and fit them on to Scalextric chassis with blobs of Plasticine. It hurts to think what some of those kits sell for now 😲 Crikey, that was getting on for half a century ago! Atb, Steve. 2
PatW Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 For my 76th Birthday on the 17th (St Patricks Day). I shall decal it No.2 Will Hoy, an acquaintance in the day. 8
Windy37 Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 Good choice @PatW. Will Hoy was the guide when I was lucky enough to win a look around the team garage at Donington when he was driving for Vic Lees ( controversial 😄) team . He was a proper gentleman. Gary .
