Hey thanks, though it is scary that ive bought so much.

Fourteen kits in total and nine decal sheets, is'nt there a recession happening?

Not in my wallet it seems!

And some pics of my old 90's collection that i pulled from storage. About thirty in total.

I ran across this the other day on TheBay.  At less than $10.00 US I couldn't hit the "buy it now" button fast enough.

While probably more common in Europe, they are exceedingly rare in the U.S..

This one is only missing a tail light.         And the box!

I recently started to work on the 1/43 Austin Mini by Heller. First time I build something at this scale and it is not as fiddly as I thought it would be (yet at least). I bought a couple more 1/43 kits.

I remember building the Heller Mini back when I was a teenager, not a bad kit as I recall and turned out well by my standards at that time.

Yeah it is quite nice I think but the body in my kit was warped. A 85C bath or two fixed it. Also the windshield is a bit too small there is a gap at the bottom. Nothing that cannot be fixed though. I might get another one when I am done.

A short while ago a '76 Chevy stepside found its way into the stash, I guess I'm kinda sorta into pickups at this point. Couldn't resist this nice '78 square body.

I won't be doing the "big game" stuff but it's an interesting rig for sure.

On my request across a few sites for an AMT Meyers Manx netted me these from, a fellow modeler after discussion.

I also need the Manx to make templates for my own scratchbuilt beach buggy pproject.

Apart from the light pods, what's the main differences in the kits Gary?

Keith

I think there's new wheels , a new front bumper/ air dam and obviously new decals. Hopefully I'll be building this one to go with my other rally Peugeots . Peugeot has a great rally heritage .

Gary .
