Am I right in thinking that this can be built as either the coupe or roadster? 1:32 isn't really my scale for cars (not scale snobbery, just that it won't display well with what I already have) so I've managed to resist getting one so far, but I do want to convert one of my Heller 1:24 Traction Avants to this body style. Merci beaucoup. Yes, there are parts for coupe or roadster, it's a multi-part body so it's going to be interesting trying fitting it together and getting a decent paint finish. I want to get the VW Sciricco finished first but the build thread will start making progress here: 1
FG2Si
Finally someone came out with a Zonda in 1/24. I picked up the PE detail set for it as well I also got the Aoshima GT-R for something quick and fun. Carl
Fnick
My latest purchase. Always wanted to do a road Ferrari. Already have this kit but the one I have didn't come with decals so when the seller accepted an offer plus I had to use a £5 voucher from eBay by end of the week it was too good an opportunity to miss! Windy37
I Know , I know it’s wrong in so many ways but I won this off e bay for £33 the other night . Somebody forgot to add the Ford tax obviously . One for the stash and I live in hope a better kit of this top car will appear someday . It’s all intact and with unopened bags BTW , despite the box looking like it’s been stamped on ! Gary .

Keith I'm still waiting for Belkits RS200 they have been teasing about for years On the plus side I've got plenty of other rally kits to build - the Italeri BMW M1 (I'm going to need a co-driver seat, might try moulding a copy of the driver seat in resin) and a Hasegawa Lancia 037.

But back in the dark ages I owned and rallied a few MK1 & 2 Escorts, so they have a special meaning for me. Keith
Vesa Jussila
We really need a new kit for mk.2 Escort. I think our best bet is Belkits.
johnlambert
I couldn't help myself in Hobbycraft yesterday. I built a version of the Tamiya VW Beetle around 20 years ago and it's a kit I'd like to revisit. When I first attempted the VW I built it as a very tired example and I'd like to build a pristine version. The Tamiya Porsche 911 Turbo is another kit I've wanted for a while as I built the "Flatnose" version something like 30 years ago and this kit is clearly related with a lot of the same parts. One day I think it will get a Revell 911 Carrera and Targa to keep it company.

Never knew Tamiya did a flatnose, have built the Fujimi (and still have a damaged one in the stash). You learn something new every day. Rear suspension is broken and the spoiler lip is missing. It's a basic kit but the model is one of my better efforts from back then, which is one reason why it has survived.
keefr22
It still looks good John, excellent brush painting! Funnily enough I've got a Fujimi Turbo cabriolet in which the rear suspension has broken - must be a feature of both ranges...!! 🤣
johnlambert
Another one probably for the Matchbox anniversary group build. I found this Matchbox MG TC in a model shop where it had just come in as part of a job lot of second hand models, I decided this was fate and the kit was supposed to be mine. 9
Vesa Jussila
@johnlambert nice kit. I really like these old Matchbox things. Even that 1/32 is not my normal scale. And sometimes these are challenging to build. Fit is not so perfect.

I'm building the Matchbox Citroen 11 Legere at the moment, I've not found too many fit issues and the quality of the moulding is first rate. But it is challenging because Matchbox seemed to cram in a lot of detail and the parts don't always have much in the way of locating pegs or similar to ensure correct alignment.

PatW
Delivered today some spares. A 3D wheel/tyre/disc brake combo in the Minilite design 1/24 or 1/25, possibly for a Lotus 7 in build or a Porsche 914 or most anything else sporty.

Black Knight
This afternoon I 'won' on ebay a 1/32 Lindberg kit of an MGA 1600. I paid £18.50 for it, about twice what I'd normally spend on a car kit. But, you don't see many of them about
johnlambert
Picked up another kit for the Matchbox 70th anniversary group build. It's PK-308 Porsche 935, part assembled but it appears that all the pieces are present.
