keefr22
Two Italeri Mk2 Escort RS1800's to use as donor kits for my two Passion for Racers Mk1 Escort resin transkits. I still have a few Esci/Revell Mk2 kits in stock but was always reluctant to cannabalise them as I want to actually build Mk2's from them, so always planned to scratchbuild the needed parts for the transkits. But with the Italeri re-issue and an e-bay voucher that let me buy two for less than thirty quid, it was a no brainer! Also got some lovely Mk1 Mexico stripe decals from Mark at Motobitz to stick on them! I 'plan' to try & convert the two spare Mk2 bodyshells into a standard RS2000 and an X-pack RS2. Only problem is if I actually do, I'll need another two kits for rhe rest of the bits...!! Keith

krow113
Had this when I was a teenager and it popped up locally so I bagged it. As all of these finds the engine and wheel and the frame usually have been assembled . They never scrape the chrome off so the wheels and mill fall apart. I have a number of kits in that shape. One of the ridiculously long fork genre of kits, still , love them all.
D1fuN0
Afternoon Chaps Update on recent acquisitions I've built about 6 of these already, but its nice to have one in a shiny new box Always wanted an old Suburban, I just love the shape I'm not a huge fan of Mclarens, but hey, its a model, had to buy it This was just a lucky find and one I've been after a while Another of my favourites, Love El Camino's so it was adopted Now this was indeed a lucky find.... Yet another lambo to add to the growing number parking in the cupboard Finally found the last of the 32nd scales I have been looking for Obviously I had to buy one of these, just be rude not too And finally, one can never have enough H vans These weren't all purchased in one go, last say month and a bit Thanks for looking Mad Steve
shood23
A couple of buys this week. Ive had my eye on the first purchase for a while, kind of hoping they'd drop in price but they haven't. The Aoshima pagani huayra. Then second I joined the club and bought a couple of tamiya Mercedes amg gt3s. Might see if I can mate a revell amg gts to the gt3 and make an amg gtr and then maybe add the revell V8 biturbo to the tamiya gt3.. Shaun

I love the fact they include the clear body parts aswell as the white plastic body parts it really opens up the build options. Shaun

Sabrejet
Well I finally did it - I bought my bucket list 1/12 MFH kit. I was going to wait a while and make a 'considered' purchase, but they ganged up on me! Just before Christmas came some teaser shots and, well it's a Mazda 787B - I didn't stand a chance. So this lot arrived today, courtesy of some very quick service from Hiroboy. Glasses are on the box to show just how, er, large the thing is. It's also jam-packed with awesomely-moulded resin and white metal, plus some equally impressive turned aluminium, PE, decals, vac form clear, hoses - everything really. Is it the best kit I've ever bought? Undoubtedly - and by a country mile. I just hope I can turn my best kit purchase into my best model... £75 well spent (or at least that's what I shall be telling the wife) 2

Shaun I think I still need a fix of those wonderful MFH wire wheels, so maybe one day a classic Ferrari sports racer will be added to the stash. I've seen your MFH F1 Ferrari so I know I'm leaning against an open door. Could be the start of an expensive habit...
