Simon382
Morning. On a personal level I usually try Hannants or Ebay. Depending on what you're looking for depends on what you may have to pay. Modelbox have a good range including modern which I like to use.

Triumph
Wow, that's such a wide question it would take a lifetime to answer. Ha Ha yes sorry Ratch but what I'm asking is were would you look for the 'base' models, I know theres a lot of 'modding' going on but you have to start with something don't you? Or are they what you build up from having them when in kit's. As you know Ratch Airfix at last has a set of USAF ground vehicles, so at least I have something for my B-17's but no figures yet cheers Peter Edited September 10, 2016 by Triumph
HansReggelsen
Historex, Hannants, Kingkit - occasionally Hobby Link Japan - That is where I usually go looking Cheers Hans J

As you know Ratch Airfix at last has a set of USAF ground vehicles, so at least I have something for my B-17's but no figures yet cheers Airfix did/does a set of USAAF ground crew. Revell does a set of RAF air crew which generally does well for almost any allied air force crew
Ratch
For 1/72 (& 1/76) figures look at http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Index.aspx They list practically every set of figures ever made in these scales. Then start searching in the places listed above and e-bay and maybe even your LMS. Just because they're not in the current range doesn't mean they won't be on someone's shelf.

FZ6
If you want some high quality albeit expensive figures have a look at these 3d printed ones from Reedoak They are available in a range of scales http://reedoak.com/#!/Figures-figurines/c/13281234/offset=0&sort=normal I've also used Gunthwaite Miniatures figures in the past for British 1:72 RAF dioramas but they also have loads of Naval figures as well. http://www.gunthwaite.co.uk/ If 1:35 is of interest to you then Masterbox produce one of the most varied range of figures you could find in this scale and they are pretty decent quality for plastic. http://www.mbltd.info/models.htm Hope this is of interest to you. Rob 1
I got a couple of 1:35 figure sets from Master Box recently, and they certainly seem pretty well sculpted and finely detailed, and have a generous number of optional extras.
