PhantomMajor
We are now into September which marks the beginning of autumn and several manufacturers promised us fabulous new sci-fi kits which have failed to arrive; Dragon who promised us a plethora of star wars kits, walkers, chicken walkers, snow speeders etc and Moebius with their BSG Raptor which is already a year and a half late. call me cynical but surely this wasn't just a publicity stunt to drum up business for their existing stock of regular kits and yet you can't seem to find any information regarding their actual release dates on their respective sites. Mechanised Dwarf
42 I've been looking forward to the BSG Raptor for a while, if it ever comes to market will Revell do a European version? I don't know what their licensing details. I don't know much about dragon what are their models like?
Caerbannog
There is a testshot build in the lates SciFi and Fantasy Modeller of the Moebius Raptor. So the tooling is done and it should not be long untill it hits the shelves. Not sure about Revells licence but I guess they will bring this one out if they can. Not heared anything from Dragon regarding their Star Wars kits. Not very much interested in these anyway - too small. 1:144 scale is OK for a ISD or a Death Star ;-)

Madmonk
I think the Dragon kits are 1:35 rather than 1:48, the AT-AT is huge, just hope all the criticism they got over another 1:144 Falcon hasn't put them off.
BobSolo
Dragons twitter: https://twitter.com/dragonmodels AT-AT, AT-ST & Snowspeeder were all over it through August. Shame the speeder has wrong proportions, the AT-ST looks squat. The Huge AT-AT doesnt look too bad on first impressions, but judging by the mess theyve made of the snowspeeder id have to look a lot closer before buying one as a stand alone model. To their credit they have made smaller AT-AT's and some rebel laser turrets and mini rebels. If only they could get the dimensions right on their models! Which brings me to Bandai, i allready have 3 awesome snowspeeders and 2 cool AT-ST's in 1/48 so for a Dio im Bandai all the way, they just need to release the 1/48 AT-AT We have seen a Laser turret from Bandai allready with the A-wing, so maybe a 1/48 Hoth turret + "Satelite Dish" gun & some lil rebels too? For some reason i had Force Friday (or whatever day it is this year) down as the release date for new kits, but then Bandai has allready revealed a supercool DeathTrooper (with tactical vest and pouldron!) and re-done the X-wing into a Rogue One version. I have a feeling Bandai may aso make a Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper for Rogue one, they have a nice back pack with an aerial. http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2016/09/Rogue-One-Jedha-Patrol-Stormtrooper-Hot-Toys.jpg

wkennerley
l. 1:144 scale is OK for a ISD or a Death Star ;-) That would be fun, the Death Star in 1:144 would be about 800 metres in diameter

GreenDragon
There were two things delaying the Raptor, not sure how far along they are now but the BSG License had to be re-negotiated done as it was lapsing. Second is the first round of test shots had some detail problems so after these are fixed there will be a second test shot, Moebius seem to be expecting to need a third round of test shots too. Release is expected to be December. Info from various posts on Starship Modeler. Aramament set is going to be a seperate release. Sorry - for the misunderstanding - I surely saw their AT-AT and also the other announcements. But I have not heard anything about them since. That was what I wanted to say ;-) I still doubt the 1:35 AT-AT is more than Bandais big ISD or AT-AT. They all seem to be more a concept than an actually planned product to me. Sadly. Universal had a management change and the licensing departments got scrambled as the new bosses have other priorities. So Moebius who was in the middle of trying to get their BSG license renewed got caught up in it since the person/people they worked with before are not the same as whomever they have to work with now. I don't know if by now it got resolved or not, but that has been the biggest headache in getting the Raptor to market. Believe me, they want to do it as they need to start getting some revenue generated from it.
