Mitch K Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 Here's a view of the nose guns. The barrels are 0.3mm OD steel capillary tube. The first stage of a replacement cabane strut. I soldered it from copper wire, which is simpler than using steel. Once upon a time I could have rolled it into a vaguely aerofoil shape, but this is beyond me now. The sigma symbols for the fuselage were printed onto masking tape (cunningly stuck to some clear tape stuck onto the paper!). I placed one of these onto the fuselage and cut it out largely in situ. 1
Mitch K Posted December 21, 2016 Author Posted December 21, 2016 Against all the odds, I've got this finished! Assembling the upper wing with the new, home-made cabane strut was a complete swine of a job. The short struts that run from the wing to the main wing supports were all too short so I have to build extensions for them on the fly. The step was added at the end, along with an EZ-Line aerial. I scratched up a rear cockpit machine gun. I think the Greeks fitted French Darne guns on these aircraft, as they did on their Breguet XIX, so that's what I've gone with. The gun mount is total supposition! I'm off to the gallery to add some pictures there! 12

28ZComeback Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 (edited) I really love this build and find myself interested in the same Greek Hs-126. Has anyone used the Vector interior in lieu of the 1/48 ICM Hs-126 interior? Exterior bits? Sorry to hijack the thread. Thank you Edited November 6, 2019 by 28ZComeback
