Tempest undercarriage problem

I have a 1/72 Heller Tempest which has suffered damage during transit to shows and the undercarriage legs have snapped. They are delicate mouldings and therefore weak. I could try a drill and pin fix but I'm not sure there is enough plastic to do it. Are there any metal u/c legs for the Tempest in 1/72?

As I couldn't find any the next question is how close are Sea Fury or Typhoon legs? Both of those are available.

TIA

Ross

Sea Fury will do, but Typhoon won't. Typhoon legs are traditional oleo legs. The Tempest and Sea Fury share those unusual parallel motion legs :)

As it happens, I broke my Tempest undercarriage on the way home from Scale Scotland yesterday - they were fixed last night with a drill and brass inserts as you suggest, however being a scale larger than yours this was somewhat easier to implement!

Thanks for the reply and glad you fixed yours - I think I've some Aeroclub Sea Fury u/c somewhere if the drill/pin doesn't work for me
