Cheers Jason,......here is a quick update before I head off for Oxford for a few days,.....I`ve got the undercarriage and engines on,.....although two cylinders broke off the rather fragile engines and cannot be found yet!;

Hiya Folks,

                   I was rushed into hospital earlier this week and after an MR Scan showed that yet another disc had become displaced and was pressing into my spinal cord I was tranx to the Acute Spinal Centre at Salford Royal. It has been a very painful time with some partial (hopefully temporary) paralysis below the waist and an operation at this stage is too dangerous, so I have had a small op to try and reduce the size of the disc and hopefully prevent a much larger and more dangerous procedure.

They have let me out for Christmas.and to attend my Mum`s funeral (she ded on 16th December) and I report back in January,......so it has been a bit of a shitty week or so and although I have a number of almost  finished models in this GB, I doubt that I`ll be finishing them in time!

Merry Christmas to you all and a happy 2017,

Cheers

            Tony

Hiya Folks,.....well I`ve all but finished the Bombay and so decided to show it here. I know that it is a few days but I`m hoping that my stay in hospital etc might be taken into account,.......anyway,.....here it is with some shots also showing my old Army Medic armband;

Hi Tony

Really sorry to hear about your mum, that's a lot to take in even when you are in good health yourself. Talking of which how are you ?

Lovely job on the Bombay, which means I should be brave and try and find the Contrail one I have in the stash.

kindest regards Pat

Thanks everybody,.......glad you like the Bombay and for your very kind words.

Mum`s funeral was this afternoon and was very hard because we were very close indeed,...nuff said and I`ll have to deal with it! because she ain`t coming back

Health wise,.........the back and right leg are still causing me agony,.......the minor op on my latest dodgy disc doesn`t seems to have done anything yet so it is a case of trying to juggle my original meds from before to try and eak them out and spread the relief as I`ve not been given any additional meds to cope with the increase in pain and I even had to take my own meds into hospital as they didn`t have any!!

It is just a case of waiting and suffering until January when I see the specialist again, then he will decide what to do next and it could be a big and quite dodgy op pending if I`m unlucky,....so fingers crossed that the minor op has worked wonders eh,!

Cheers for now folks,

                                Tony.
