phil1 Posted March 26, 2017 Author Share Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) The registration for this aircraft is UK-86090 which presents a problem as I have limited letters and numbers. It has to be this specific aircraft as was the only IL86 to receive the more updated livery. from 'CCCP' gives me a few zero's and turning the 6 upside down gives me a 9 - simple! however I'll have to piece together a U and a K on the other wing somehow ready to mount this... no reg on the underside (ran out of usable decals), I also don't have the reg on the tail for the same reasons. I had smaller logo decals for the engines but I can't find any reference shots with them on so I will leave them blank Final touches include my own anti-glare shield (technical term?) under the cockpit window cut from large 1/72 decal and letraset onto decal paper for 'IL-86' , this looks a little crude but it did so in real life finished! link for ready for inspection is here Edited March 26, 2017 by phil1 forgot link 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
