Sorry for inconsistent updates but this model is nearing finish line now. I am going for a faded worn look but no paint chipping .

The paints used are tamiya for the RLM 65 , Gunze for the RLM 75 violet grey and revell aqua(Acrylics) for the RLM 74 .   After laying down an intial coat , I spray some pre shade which will then be covered by a very thin coat of the base paint . All airbrushing free hand with only hard edges masked .

This is NOT the final finish , everything will be toned down -

This model is almost done . Only final clear coat remains . Here is a shot of the underside post weathering . Somehow what was supposed to be a clean model became a weathered subject :)

Some shots of the finished article , entire model was airbrushed freehand except for hard edges . Faded paint finish with airbrush and panel lines with artist oil wash .

Paints used are Tamiya for RLM 65 , Gunze for RLM 75 and Revell Aqua for RLM 74 (grey-green).
