PlaStix
Hi Aaron. Lovely work so far! Hope the rest of the builds go well! Kind regards, Stix
milktrip
thanks for the support guys. Don worry Enzo, I got rid of the wasp. However, now I'm surrounded by little midges. I reckon they are attracted to the daylight lamp! that or the smell of alclad. Some pretty good progress. Its not the best finish I have to say but considering the time frame I'm pleased with how the spits are looking. the PR XIX is ready for decals the mk.22 has not long received a spray of alclad aluminium and is looking pretty good. Just gave it a coat of aqua gloss, wouldn't usually but not taking any chances! 7 hours remaining. I think I can do it. cheers Aaron
Nigel Heath
Fantastic stuff, what excitement and jeopardy. My gosh those crumpets do (did) look good and your other culinary creations, I might start to pop a few more pics of mine back in my threads. Also, and maybe seen as the cheats way, eduard mask set. Not at all, this is intelligent modelling, making the best use of the natural resources available to us,

milktrip
It's 03:41. Couple of hours ago I decided to focus on getting the XIX complete as the mk.22 has loads of stencil decals!! But pleased to announce that at 03:39 the PR XIX is complete! Yay. Will have to wait until I'm on the laptop before I can upload them. I'll also do a proper RFI as well. Debating whether or not to continue with the 22? To be honest I don't think I can sleep... Hmmm Thanks for all the support

milktrip
thank you very much guys. I took some better photos,, although the lighting in some is not great, so shadows galore in some; bit of a rush job. as I had the booth out. I took some photos of the mk.22 this is its current state. I reckon I could have finished both in the time but it would have been close. the decals slowed me down in the end. thanks for all the support guys. it really was a fun GB but next time I'll stick to one build!!! cheers Aaron

JosephLalor
That screen saver woulds look good on the fin of an S-3 Viking. It's an early American flag, the Gadsden flag of 1775 Edited August 31, 2016 by JosephLalor
milktrip
Thank you Nigel. The MK.22 is now complete! YAY! Gave myself a target of 4 hours (which would have been the full 24 hours had I continued on) and completed in 3 hours 48 minutes. So in theory, had I been able to continue, I could have completed both. However, I have to take into consideration the lethargy during the consecutive session so it would have been close and more than likely (more) mistakes would have been made and it could have ended out of the window. Still though, 2 kits complete in such a short duration yet I struggle to complete one in a standard length GB. I'll post some pics in here maybe tomorrow and will do a RFI for the main aircraft gallery at some point.
