theplasticsurgeon
This kit:- cost me 9.50. Seahawk picked it up for me from Trago Mills in 2006. Instructions and decals. Parts. Undecided - but one of these options: Plan is for this build to keep pace with my Italeri Mediterranean build -so I've got to hold fire until Saturday. Foxbat
I bought this kit to do a Hungarian version but I should have got the P instead. I'll be watching this with interest to try and inspire my build. Andy
Bordfunker
I built the Hase boxing of the P a few years back, lovely kit, just watch those multipart engines, as they court me out. Looking forward to your build. Karl

vppelt68
If you're building a liaison plane or one with external bomb racks, the inner vertical bomb racks should be left off.
theplasticsurgeon
It's all sealed up inside the fuselage now.

Duly noted for my future benefit I can make plenty of errors as it is.... I think you're mad doing two at once as well, but in a good way.
Touvdal
If you're building a liaison plane or one with external bomb racks, the inner vertical bomb racks should be left off. It is not a liason a/c, it was att. to I/LLG 2. (Luftlandegruppe) (Schleppgruppe 2), could have been used when I/SG 3 transfered to Finland, for towing gliders with equipment when transfering from Dorpat. The Cockpit area should be RLM 66 (Blackgrey) Cheers Jes

vppelt68
Jes, are you talking about the S7+FA? That was definitely an Stab/SG 3 plane as S7+_A code indicates. Gefechtsverband Kuhlmey used, iirc, Transportgruppe 10 with Italian Savoia-Marchetti, in hauling equipment from Estonia and Prussia to Finland. There has never been any evidence - nor even rumors - about gliders. Finnish literature speaks about that plane being Obstlt. Kurt Kuhlmeys' personal transporter in one voice. Funny that Revell got the Geschwader wrong, though...

With ref. to Anttonen and Valtonen it is coded F7 + FA, wich is also quit clear when looking at the photoes of the a/c cheers Jes

I've read the same books you mentioned but never noticed this plane not being "S7" (I don't even try to interpret blurry old photographs myself!) just believing what I've read elsewhere. So I stand corrected, thanks Jes! I still don't believe it had the bomb racks, though 😊. Regards, V-P
TonyTiger66
Great progress on the Heinkel. It's gone together very quickly. I need to check out your other one. Two at once is impressive! Best regards Tony

theplasticsurgeon
Masked and airbrushed. Like if you can guess where the masking came from. Splinter. And both of them splintered.
