Ripaman
Thanks Robert, Francis and Juilian, Have done a bit more to the Jeep, got the brackets made to hold the canvas roof tube, now to think what should I use to make the canvas cover also made a hinge for the hood. I have made it so I can have it up or down That it for now, Regards Richard

Gremlin56
Looking great Richard. I suppose you will want to be able to fold down the canvas roof. That would seem to indicate real cloth like material. I found some really thin cotton material for some sails on a ship I built years ago in one of those ladies material stores. Got me some funny looks when I was wandering around touching bolts of clothe to see how thick it was

Well time for a small update, Thought I would change the look of the front windshield made this out of 1mm tube and .005" sheet brass Then made the frame to hold the glass out of 1mm brass angle, will need to fit some clear plastic so I made the back part out of sheet brass in one piece Started to make the canvas cover, still got to form it around the frame work, but at least it gives me an idea. Until next time, Regards Richard

Now just got to finish the other one. Until next time Regards Richard
