starfighter84
Hello to all! I'm back with a Mig-29G of the Polish Air Force (ex Luftwaffe) based on Malbork Air Base. Academy kit with much scratch & extras: Neomega resin cockpit. Aires wheel bays, airbrake and exhaust. Brassin wheels. Eduard photoetched set. Dream Model brassed pitot. Quickboost antennas & sensors. Techmod decal sheet. Finished with Gunze & Tamiya paints. Hope you like my Fulcrum! Cheers from Rome, Italy. spruecutter
Bellissimo! You can be very proud of your work - that's a great looking Fulcrum. I wish Caracal Models would re-release their special edition decal sheet with the Polish aviators on it. Regards Richard C

Tiger331
LANDMARK Post…….and what better way to mark this event than to make a comment on a model of one of my favourite aircraft !. Valerio….in a word…...BELLISIMO !. You have done wonders with the Academy kit, which was probably the best kit of the Fulcrum around in 1:48 until the Great Wall Hobby release, but not without its problems. Your model certainly looks every inch like the mighty MiG-29 and I really like the current Polish Air Force camouflage scheme. We were lucky enough to have two of the specially marked aircraft participating in the Air Show at Stavanger in 2012 when I was there. Absolutely SUPERB.. And there we go……my 1000th Post on BM on Saturday 13 August 2016.

redcap
You could have passed that old Academy kit off as the far superior GWH kit - kudos and a great finished model. Gary

bryanm
Very nice - reminds me of the spectacular RIAT displays over the last couple of years. The story from the commentator was that the Poles bought the former East German MiG 29s from the reunited Luftwaffe for $1!

Amen
Great Mig-29 and presentation, congrats mate! How many camos did receive the 4103? I notice some variations on the camouflage pattern across the Internet. Edited September 6, 2016 by Amen
starfighter84
Thanks Amen! Great Mig-29 and presentation, congrats mate! How many camos did receive the 4103? I notice some variations on the camouflage pattern across the Internet. At least two variations of camos. Plus some minor variations concerning the painting of the antennas at the base of tail fins.
