Recommended Posts

Hi don't normally build civil aircraft but I have a fancy to build if possible a 1/144 scale Iron Maiden's 757 Ed Force One

Any ideas how or where to look

Hi,

I´d buy decals here:

http://www.v1decals.com/decals.php?aircraft=8

scroll little down so you can see both versions.

I think there are few other "Iron Maiden" decal makers too but don´t remember them right now.

and the kit here (soon as it comes available again):

http://www.authentic-airliners.de/epages/64205758.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/64205758/Products/K144-12RR

And don´t forget to use Authentic Decals brilliant products:

http://www.authentic-airliner-decals.de/epages/17895661.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/17895661/Products/D144-BO-12

http://www.authentic-airliner-decals.de/epages/17895661.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/17895661/Categories/%223D%20ABZIEHBILDER%22/%223D%20ABZIEHBILDER%201/144%22

I have chosen those above.

Br,

It appears the 757 is fairly non existent without paying arm or leg

Decals from Canada wonder what post would cost

I´d say that the total for decals and shipping would be quite near to 15 GBP not very expensive (IMHO) but you´d ask the exact price from V1 team they are very friendly.

And yes there is a cheaper alternative for B 757 kit and it´s Minicraft but... ok let´s say shortly "it´s a piece of s..t" I wouldn´t even think about it. But I know there are plenty airliners modelers who have opposite opinion. Choice is always yours...

Br,

Kusti

There's also the Welsh kit. Vac fuselage and resin wings and tailplane. Bra.Z has the proper Rolls Royce RB211-535E engines available as well as a bunch of correction parts if you're unfortunate enough to own a Minicraft kit.

Thank folks for information i think I may have to forget the idea cost seems a bit steep for a subject I don't normally do

I was just a fancy as I like iron Maiden and build kits occasionally
