Space Ranger
I can't tell you about the primers, but the Micro products have been standards used by modelers (including me) for the last 40 or so years. Some decals, notably Tamiya's, don't take to them very well, but for the vast majority of decals, both kit and aftermarket, they work fine. Tomjw
I use Alclad most of the time. The only time I don't is when I need to spray Vallejo Model Color - it seems to me that Vallejo doesn't like Alclad primer resulting in a grainy finish. Cheers, Tom. colin
Any of the solvent based putties can be affected by cellulose based paints if you spray heavy coats on them
Tomjw
I heard something about that Green putty and Alclad aren´t good firends, that they doesn´t work together is that true? Not had a problem with this combination myself, but I always start with a mist coat before going heavier with subsequent passes.
