a puzzle for you- what did I fly in as a kid- 747 c.1998?

Hi all,

I've been in to modelling airliners recently, trying to focus on types which have shunted me around the world during my short, but colourful travelling history.

I hope you can help me out- I remember my first trip in an aircraft was UK=Florida. This must have been 1997 or 1998.

I am sure it was in a 747 because I remember sitting right up in the nose- almost facing in to the centre-line of the aircraft.

I seem to remember the airline was a UK charter operator- and a colourful aircraft at that.

So... can anyone help identify what I likely flew in? Google searches haven't turned up anything I instantly recognise. Perhaps my memory is faulty!

This got me a bit intrigued so I did a bit of googling.

Could it have been this Air New Zealand 747, leased by Airtours for the 1998 summer season? Looks pretty colourful as well. There are a few photos online including this one https://flic.kr/p/gE4YVA
