J-29F HobbyBoss in 1:48 (or 1:52)

Recommended Posts

I think the scale does not really matter!!

What is important is was you did with this kit:

A fantastic depiction of the J-29 F.

a very interesting representation of a forgotten fighter.

It is so impressive with its barrel like look.

Great work !!!

turned out fantastic!

but don't put it next to a AZ (sic!) or Pilot Replicas one!

do you have picture of the underside as well?

hwo many different sizes of roundels are included in these decals? I always thought that only the underwing roundels are much bigger ín size!

the markings look quite ok!

Absolutely WONDERFUL Matthias. Outstanding paintjob and weathering.

This little fat fella must be one of the most charming -and also neglected- post WWII jets. The HobbyBoss rendering seems pretty fair to me. Personally, I'm not bothered by 2mm more or less.

(Another) master class model from your workbench.

Best wishes from Chile.

Tanks for the words! For the NMF I used Alclad Aluminium as the basic plus some different Alclad metalics for painting some sections

That's exactly what I use and how I do it, only I'm impatient and don't get as meticulous. Again, nice job!

Another extraordinary model! I don't understand how anyone could make a model kit look more real to my eye, perfect! How do you weather the metal surface like that? Is it some kind of wash/powder or airbrushed on?

Cheers,

David.
