monsterpartyhat Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Oh, yes - I've already got all those references bookmarked and downloaded for safe keeping :). There's a fellow on the RPF building the squadron with the 1:72nd scale bandai kits (thread titled "All wings report in") that inspired me to this madness.

Oh yeah, finish the other six or seven half started projects I have going on. I might be wrong, but I think I've spotted a bit of a theme here 2
TimMather Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 something different than all the mecha stuff i buy. used to love this game as a kid. the detail is ok alot like a gundam, no rivitting. it looks smaller than the box art, still should be fun with some LEDs. 4
Will Vale Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 That's a lovely kit is the R9, Plum do a few other shoot-em-up ships as well. Will 1
eureka Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Parcelforce delivered a Eagle freighter for me yesterday. My wife ordered it me for my 50th a few months back. Now I need to find time to build both the eagle freighter and the eagle transporter. 3
Koshey Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 it's a shame that the Assembly time not included... 2
TimMather Posted August 17, 2017 Author Posted August 17, 2017 got another pla act kit by plum, bit annoyed at a £8 booking fee for a £4 customs charge.

The Chief Smeg Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I'm guessing you are going to treat us to a trench run diorama? pleeeeeease?
Mick4350 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Bandai's Battle Droid & STAP. Only gripe is that the seller undervalues the amount shown on the customs form by a fairly big margin.

TimMather Posted August 30, 2017 Author Posted August 30, 2017 got a nice render book through the post(bought all 3 of them, but other 2 not delivered yet). and another pla act kit, i love these guys, they have the right mix of cuteness, cool design and small size. 1
TimMather Posted August 30, 2017 Author Posted August 30, 2017 they are secondhand and were a steal, thats my excuse and im sticking to it!!!!! 1
TimMather Posted August 31, 2017 Author Posted August 31, 2017 lol, i swear ive not won the lotto and buying everything, just all my buys seem to be delivered at once. despite the warnings by the company themselves saying that shipping will take 3months(literally shipped from the far east in a ship) delivery took just 5weeks. seal model shop is the only place to buy gaianotes lacquer paint at a reasonable price, this lot would have cost me double if bought on ebay. 1
FG2Si Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 These arrived just in time for the long weekend: I was surprised how quickly they arrived from Japan as it took a week exactly. Carl 3

Richard Baker Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 My wife likes to get special makeup pallets and brushes, I like to get scifi replicas and models. It all balances out...
LotusArenco Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I’m in two minds whether to paint it up as is, or to go full Luftwaffe 2046 on it. I’m tending towards the latter, but it’ll be a shame not to use the funky skull and crossbones markings on the decal sheet. Mart 1
Pete in Lincs Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Luft '46 WITH a skull on the side. Shame it's not 1/32nd! Will you do a WIP in the future? 1
