...you got the Deredeo too?

yes, it is a nice looking dreadnought in 30K. but price is same as Typhoeus Gundam Chimera in previous reply.

i.e. almost  £60, only get a 1/72 AFV size miniatures. that way i buy less (even see some interested chess) from GW.

most of them are too big (i prefer "mini"atures, not figure), or high point in game, so high price...

leviathan is nice too, but GW separated the weapons in two boxes. so need to pay more...😩

Oh, and this one too! They only cost £7.50 each. Great fun and well worth it!

Not from the Postie but the Big River Warehouse section. Never had a problem before. But this time...

The Revell rebox of the Bandai Star Wars AT-ST. It was in there for about a fiver less than normal.

It arrived today and some scumbag had snipped at least 10 parts off the sprues and kept the instructions before returning it.

So it's gone back in the box and will be returned via the P.O. on Monday. Drat.

I picked this up off eBay as a part-started kit.  I've been watching Macross a bit lately, as its Robotech US re-edit, parcelled up into 85 episodes and three movies, I think?  Anyway, I already have a standard Zentraedi Regult Tactical Pod, but fancied the Glaug variant, cos I like the gun-arms.  The kits are ancient of course, the instructions having a 1983 copyright, and un-started they're going for around £100, but I happened on this one for a fraction of that, hoping that it would be complete, or at least complete enough for me to build any missing parts myself.  It rocked up yesterday:

It was substantially "built" to a fairly poor standard, with just a lick of red(ish) paint on one of the toenails, but they'd used tube glue, quite liberally in places, and it was easy to deconstruct.  It took me about 20 minutes with some brute force and a curved scalpel, with just one part refusing to come undone.  I did a bit of quick sanding of parts, slapped some filler into the obvious sink-marks and sprue-gates, and checked the parts for completeness.  As well as the bundle below there are some parts left on the sprues, plus a couple of assemblies that I've re-glued together already.

From what I can work out it's complete, which is nice.  I've already decided how to put it together when I finally do, fettling each section as I build the limbs and other parts, removing the inaccuracies and mould issues as I go along, and perhaps putting some tread on the toenails, which are hollow at the moment.  Here's where left the Regult some years back:

I can not remember if I have put any of these on here.

Not from the postie, but this is some of what I picked up from my first trip to Japan.

And the next lot is what I have picked up from my latest trip last week to Japan.

I need to sort out the deliveries I have received recently.  Lots of Macross (not the other show that doesn't exsist :P) and Ace Combat kits.  The book on the right is from the art exhibition for Mamoru Nagano who is famous for the Five Star Stories mecha/story held in Nagoya.

Kind regards,

Btw: Does anybody here happen to know, if the 2022 Shin Ultraman Movie will ever make it´s way to the european home video market? I could not find anything about an upcoming UHD or BD Release with german or english syncronisation.

Same applies to Godzilla -1, still sad that i missed it, when it was in the german cinemas, just for a few weeks.

Somthing new for me, I have been after this one for a while but didn't want to pay the extortionate ebay price but found this for an amazing price....

From the 2019-2023 Ultraman TV-Show. I found this halfway entertaining to watch. The animation of the humans looked a bit outdated to me, especially considering that this is a 2019 show. Company EasternModel hast released some larger scale (1/6) model kits from the same show. Not bad but a bit pricy....

No idea about the Ultraman Movie I am afraid.  However Godzilla -1.0 (an absolutely amazing film) is on Netflix now, I think I read that there was going to be a sequel as well.  I couldn't find anything about a DVD/BD for it either.

Kind regards,

Thank you @Dazzio!

Streaming Services are something that i simply refuse to spend money for. Regarding UHD/BD/DVD-Releases: Up to now i could only find information on the Japanese release, nothing related to europe or even germany.

That's fair enough, I'm the same with Disney+, they can do one.

I did just check again on Amazon and there is nothing official listed.  I did find a boxset for Shin Godzilla and Godzilla -1.0 but it looks dodgy as all hell to me (think it is a Chinese copy).  How is the vinyl soundtrack £85?!

Wished I had picked up a copy when I was in Japan.  Apparently there will be a release in the UK around October/November time, but I still see no pre-orders for it yet.  Very odd...

I received the new larger scale Atreides Ornithopter the other day.

Looks very nice inside the box. The wings are geared in pairs so that they can move in unison.

Not delivered by the postman but found this on a boot sale yesterday - AMT Darth Vader TIE (in yellow circle).

I got this kit back in the late seventies as a kid (with a similar result as the one I picked up yesterday) and in the nineties the reedition which I restored two years ago (the one on the right). So if you wonder why I bought a second one: It was jcheap as chips and I only bought it for the wings to build a studio scale TIE Bomber finally :penguin:

you not wait new mech in AC6?

I have the Rubicon kits on pre-order, but they're coming in September.

Still hoping for a larger Nachtreiher from Kotobukiya.

i didn't know it going to publish in autumn. Bandai put it in low price 30MM series, and earlier than Koto ver.

anyway, i only wait Koto one.

did you play AC6? it is my first AC game, gameplay not as good as i assume, or form software changed the system too close to sekrio?

btw, i only like three mechs in previous series: Rayleonard, Alicia, Perun. they are nice kits.

I played Armored Core on the PS1 ages ago 😅

The Kotobukiya kits are awesome, I built the Aaliyah in 2009. First kit where I successfully employed post shading over a dark base coat.

It's not a Sci Fi kit, yet. But it will be. From the King kit scrap kits section for around six pounds (Inc postage) An Imai Renault 4CV (a little rounded rear engined 4 door jobbie) in 1/20th scale. Which happens to be a popular Maschinen Krieger scale. So this is going to get a touch of the El Camino and be a mini truck. Trust me, I'm a scratchbuilder

It was cheap because it's been sprayed gold and has a couple of bits missing. It also included two tins of Humbrol!
