Recently received a 1/350 3d printed Leonov from 2010 the year we make contact, absolutely stunning. Wife has hijacked my 1/350 Discovery bought at SMW and wrapped it for christmas, so a massive building spree in the new year.

all the best Chris

I just got my Dune kits from MENG in a slightly bashed box from china.

I got both ornithopters and the harvester.

the ornithopters are very small probably around 1/144 scale, no idea what scale the harvester might be. it reminds me of some of the small scale star wars stuff from bandai. like the blockade runner.

Picked this up from the Post Office after paying the customs fee, a 3D print kit 1:24 scale SHADO Interceptor from the excellent Alain Rivard. Looking forward to building this!!!

Finally got my hands on a 1/350 TOS Enterprise today after months of trying...

spacer.png

So I've now got all 3 in 1/350 with, for good measure, the 1/350 Enterprise 'nuclear wessel' as well.

If you're going for the full roster of ships display. You will also need the Space shuttle and sailing ship Enterprise.

Oh now you’ve got me started… I recently bagged the NX-01 (to add to my Refit kit) and now feel the urge to go for the original 1701 too. Though I’m tempted to hold out just in case R2 surprise us by releasing a 1/350 version of the ‘Strange New Worlds’ Enterprise 🤔

What’s the old saying? Go big or go home? You could add

USS Enterprise CV-6

USS Enterprise 1776 sloop

HMS Enterprise 1744

😂

You won’t be disappointed. It’s absolutely exquisite. I got one of the first batch back in 2017 but I’ve not had the courage to start it. The moulding and engineering are a work of art.

I was in the same boat. Too intimidated to start it but I finally did. It goes together very nicely. My first try is almost done (just some decals left) and our cat has found it a comfy place to hang out.

I was a bit disapointed by the box size when this came in yesterday: The "new" Tie Interceptor from MPC.

spacer.png

The Box is half the size of the Box from the Tie Fighter (Revel/Fine Molds Master Series) while both Kits should be pretty close in scale.

spacer.png

The Tie Fighter is 1/48 while the Box of the Interceptor has no scale information. Scalemates has this listed as 1/51. With the naked eye i cannot see any difference when comparing the body of the interceptor (dark gray) with the fighter (ligt gray).

spacer.png

Still the appearance of the interceptor will be smaller due to the Wings/Panels beeing much smaller compared to the fighter. Qualitywise the interceptor looks a bit soft. Panel lines not as sharp as on the fighter. But still a very nice kit considering that the only other option (afaik) is the tiny 1/72 scale Interceptor from Bandai.

i live in HK, a crowd city, so i always pre-order kits & visit shops once they publish, no postman service at all.

@Yg Models Nice haul there, looking forward to see your Junone!

I was surprised to see the actual quality of the Thunderjaw kit when I helt it in my hands. The engineering is on the same level as Bandai's Star Wars kits IMO; lots of fine surface details, and great fit. It is much better than my first Moderoid, the Deer Stalker RxR.

i know Thunderjaw has fine surface details, just a little bit difficult to touchup one-by-one.

most of them are in progress, except dreadnought & Junone.

if you like FSS, i just share Siren-E in last week. But FSS is unpopular in western, nobody interested in that post...
