andrewribs
Hi Having failed miserably with the last airliner build I thought I'd go for something simple to start with - Livery still to be decided, something simple though.
Skodadriver
A lovely little kit which is a delight to build. I'm looking forward to seeing yours progressing. There are a few nice decals around. Just to mention a random selection, F-DCAL do SAS, Luxair and a couple of tasty Icelandic schemes. Classic Airlines do THY and Iberia. 26 do Braathens. Romeo Alpha Yankee
I am in the same boat Andrew, never finished a kit for the last 2 Airliner GBs, so I need to make up for that this time around The kit goes together with little fuss. I built this one about 10 years ago and did it in an Ansett Australia scheme.

Graeme H
Really pushing on with this aren't you? It would take a lot not to finish one for this GB
andrewribs
Hi Alclad went on last night, unfortunately it shows up the flaws in my sanding and filling

Romeo Alpha Yankee
Alclad looks fine, can you camouflage the imperfections with having to re do the puttying ?
andrewribs
I think I was being too critical with the imperfections with the filling/sanding so I cracked on with airbrushing the yellow, one more session should do it, sorry about the quality of the picture

andrewribs
Hi No progress today, the weather is working against me! I've used enamels for this build and they seem to be taking longer to dry, I applied a second coat tonight and added a couple of drops of "Rustins driers", hopefully this should get things back on track. andrewribs
Thanks for the positive comments. Got some decals on one side last night, I used an ATP sheet for the windows, unfortunately the spacing is too large so I had to lose a window, oh well who will know? I used the kit decals for the de-icing boots on the wings, they took a bit of persuasion but I got there in the end.
