Spanish Civil War trinity: I-15, Ju 87A, Ro 37bis

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

this is my 1/72 scale contribution to the Valiant Wings newest title dedicated to Spanish civil war.

The I-15 and Ro.37bis are Azur kits, while the Anton is from Special Hobby. All of them are rather aged, but lovely kits - full build articles are included.

The title is due in August, more info here:

Cheers

Que maravillosa! Beautiful work, Libor! Some day I hope to do a book on Spanish Civil War aircraft. I'll be on the lookout for that Valiant Wings book.

Regards,

Jason

Three beautiful builds from a somewhat under modelled conflict. The Spanish Civil War has a rich collection of subjects for us to build. the Anton is exceptional.

Some people think that WWII started much earlier than we think...In fact, it started on july, 18th, 1936, in Spain......The SCW may be considered the first battle of WWII....At least in the European campaign....

And I 100% agree, there are lots of subjects with great modelling interest, and fortunately, we've got a nice selection of kits wich can be built into SCW subjects OOB.....

Libor...gorgeous builds as always...but also gorgeous photographs.

What camera/lens set up do you have, I'd like to get that kind of clarity for my photos!

Cheers

Thanks gentleman for nice words, glad you like them!

Sorry for limited number of pictures, but it's for publication.

Patrick: it is actually 3:1, I need Volume 2 to add more Red buddies:-)

Steve: just regular stuff, Nikon D5200 with 18-105mm set lens and some picture fine tuning (white balance, sharpening) in the Adobe Photoshop.

Cheers
