AndrewE
These two are hang overs from the Helicopter GB which I finished at last yesterday. The conversions from the standard Heller kits took longer than I estimated due to all the new bits and pieces that needed attaching. The conversions came from Whirlybird Decals and the decals themselves from Berna Decals. Firstly is a Belgium Navy machine followed by a Royal Danish Navy example.

ForestFan
They look great. Knowing how small this kit is you've done well with all the aerials etc!

HansReggelsen
Great models - being danish I especially like the danish one! Where on earth did you get the pontons? I dropped building one years ago because I couldn't find any! Cheers Hans J

AndrewE
Great models - being danish I especially like the danish one! Where on earth did you get the pontons? I dropped building one years ago because I couldn't find any! Cheers Hans J Thanks for the comments. The floats came from the Whirlybirds Models conversion set. The set has resin and etched brass parts with the floats being single piece resin castings. http://whirlybirdmodels.com/img/Product%20Range%20leaflet%20-%20Nationals%202014%20A5%20-%20v2.pdf
TheBaron
By coincidence I was eyeing both of these kits up online earlier. Delicious work on both Andrew, and great photos also. Tony

noelh
Very nicely done. The Belgian one brings back memories of being weathered in at Cherbourg Airport in the mid eighties. A sister ship of your subject dropped in for dejeuner and I had a good look around it. They're still in service I think all three of them.

huvut76g7gbbui7
You've excelled there AndrewE. Never got to see a Danish one ..pity as I really like those floats/pontoons. Richard
jean
Both are great Alouettes, although my preference goes to the Danish one. Matter of taste, I guess, that does not in any way mean the Belgium one is not as good!!! As mentioned earlier, considering the Lilliputian size of this model, the result is nowhere short of extraordinary... Congratulations!
