Mike
Bf.109G-10 Bronze Gear Legs (632079 for Revell)1:32 Eduard Brassin The set arrives in the familiar Brassin clamshell box, with the resin parts safely cocooned on dark grey foam inserts, and the instructions sandwiched between the two halves, doubling as the header card. Inside are bronze replacement gear legs that have been patterned and cast for the new(ish) Revell kit of this late 109, which come complete with a set of replacement gear bay doors with lots of additional detail moulded in. The bronze is very strong compared to both white metal and styrene, resisting bending and able to take a lot more weight if you plan on loading your model with heavy aftermarket. Casting is superb, with only very fine lines to cut back with a diamond file, and the sprue cut line at the very top of the leg to file flush to improve fit. A very high quality casting.
