GMK
I've kicked off converting the new Airfix Sea King HAR.3 into a 771 Sqn HU.5 - I'm after some information on the radar operators seating (one window aft than the -3?), & what are the major 'gotchas' between the models. Thanks!

Ragtag
I'm in the process of doing the same @GMK - did you come across many 'gotchas'?

From what I've done, no, not really. The bubble windows used the domes sanded flush, then glued to flat panes of 'glass', then drilled from behind. The fit between the Revell radar & the Airfix spine wasn't the best, but was fixable.
Ragtag
I'm using the radome from the old Airfix 'HAR.5' which will also need some fettling - I used a dome/bubble window from a different kit kindly provided by another BMer, it just needed the edges fettling to fit and the bubble seems a more appropriate size to my eye.
