old thumper
1/72 Scale Matchbox FW-190. This machine wears the markings of SG1 and is in what I hope looks like heavily faded winter camouflage or possibly hoarfrost. stevehnz
The Hasegawa Fw190A-5/6/8 kit modified as the Fw 190A-5 of Leutnant (Oberleutnant?) Walter Nowotny on the Eastern Front with JG54 during 1943 (He was promoted to Oberleutnant during 1943 but I'm not sure when the common photo of this plane was taken) Build thread here. With more ado, some photos of my effort. Thanks for looking in, Steve.

AdrianMF
Adrian's Ancient Revell 1/72 Fw 190, possibly meant to be an A-3? A quickie from my stash, in fact my late Dad's stash. Contemporary with, and a much nicer kit than, the contemporaneous Frog and Airfix offerings from the late 50s/early 60s, being mostly well shaped. I added some rudimentary cockpit and wheel well detail, and I made a plunge canopy over the kit item, which is too small. The kit fought me a bit: the plastic is brittle and cutting it is like cutting a sugar cube, and the undercarriage legs snapped three times during construction and finishing; the decals want to curl, so much so that I ended up using superglue to get the fuselage ones to stay down! The rest have been settled into a pool of Future. Build thread is here. Pictures: Thanks for looking, Adrian
