1/72 Polikarpov I-153 "Chayka", ICM+Quickbust

Recommended Posts

Good day, gentlemen.

Let me present you my next model.
By itself, an excellent set of ICM. Thin, very accurate casting small details. Almost flawless docking and a very good elaboration of the surface. However, holes are cut and added pipes from Quickbust, etched Eduard belts from I-16 and the instrument panel from Yahu. Braces from cord yarn. The visor is made from plastic packaging, because native was too thick. The prototype is selected from a vast number of options proposed in the "Begemot" decals.

Very nice job Fuad, and a very attractive colour scheme B)

Cheers,

Stew

However, not the fact that this color scheme was exist. The decal is written, it is "presumed variant of color scheme". However, given that the red color has been the basis of Soviet propaganda, it is quite likely.

I knew I was coming to something special but wow, that is special & different in such a good way. What you have done to this has improved it in a very delicate way, a feast for the eyes. :)

Bright red color combined with silver stars is a win-win for visual perception.
