1/48 Hasagawa F-104G Turkish Air Force

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

This is my latest build. I built this plane for a fellow in Turkey, who's dad apparently flew this exact aircraft at the tiger meet. I used MM acrylics and Tamiya acrylics. The seat is aftermarket along with the photo etch in the cockpit. The build was pretty easy without any complications. Hope you enjoy the the photos..🇺🇸

Lovely paint job, and the attention to detail is impressive - even two shades of metal on the inside of the nose gear doors! I'm afraid you've put the canopy hinging on the wrong side though...it should have the hinge on the left side, and open to the left. You might want to correct that before you send it to the new owner. I assume the nose pitot tube has been left off in case it gets broken in transit?

Nice job,

Dean

Thanks for the heads up on the canopy. It hasn't been glued, it's just sitting there loose. The lights haven't been installed yet, I dipped the clear Sprue in future and was waiting for them to dry..

Thanks

Dave
