Fly Models 1/32 Arado Ar234b

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

Here my latest completed build. It's the Fly Blitz Bomber in RAF markings as flown by Captain Eric Brown at the end of WWII.

The build was a bit challenging due to the short run nature of the kit but more so for the large canopy. There are a few accuracy issues on the kit but I'm happy with the way it turned out.

There biggest challenge was the IP which is mounted on rods that attach to the framing of the canopy.

All the markings were painted on using an assortment of paint masks.

I didn't do the fasteners around the canopy framing as I was worried about the way they'd turn out. Maybe on my next one.

I hope you all like it.

Thanks everyone!

Iang, most of the accuracy issues are minor. The nose landing gear strut is off slightly, the tailplane ailerons should be full span (which is a quick fix) and the main gear bays have some slight detail errors (which aren't visible as the main doors are closed).

Supposedly there is an issue with the angle of the main wing but I couldn't recall what it was. I left it as is.

The biggest problem is the instructions can be vague at times.
