I've now printed them off and the colour match on the red doesn't look too bad, relative to the paintwork. I've also started to paint the stripes. Because of masking constraints, I've had to do them in two phases. Phase 1 was the fuselage: Phase 2 is everthing else. No paint yet, but the masking for the yellow is finished. Fingers cross for completion over the weekend! Cliff

CliffB
Cheers Chris Here's the final update before completion tomorrow! The plane is now yellow (more masking before final black coat still to be done) And the figures are now in their basic colours (shading etc still required). Off now, as X Factor beckons Cliff
nimrod54
That's looking great Cliff. As for X Factor, the paint drying looks more inviting to me.

CliffB
Thanks guys for your comments . Well, at last it's finished (well mostly). I still need to add windscreen frames from Bare Metal Foil, but this is a job for good light and a clear head and I have neither at the moment. I think I also need to get rid of the shiney heads! I'll put a couple of extra photos in the Gallery. I've really enjoyed this build, although I'm slightly embarrassed that my ground works don't amount to much! Thanks to all who chipped in along the way and to Enzo for setting things in motion. Cheers Cliff
nimrod54
Great job Cliff, you have produced a lovely model and you should be congratulated for masking that scheme up so well.

TonyTiger66
Very nice indeed Cliff I just caught up with this in time for the final reveal . The decals looks superb and the masking quite amazing. It has built into a fine little model. Also great work adapting those tiny 1/72 figures. All the best TonyT PS: Have you eaten all the biscuits yet ? Edited November 3, 2016 by TonyTiger66 Spelling
