If you are looking for inspiration or information for design/building your vignette can I suggest you start with Britmodellers very own Dioramas, Vignettes & Scenery section?

There are inspiring builds taking place in the WIP section and inspiring completed builds in the RFI section. And of course there is the chat section where there are discussions about scenic modelling.
