Troffa
RAF Code letters of the time were described in terms of inches high, various styles were employed and various colours used- Check your references for the aircraft you wish to model. Hannant's sell generic RAF code letters in several shades at various scale sizes, and remember that some arithmetic may reveal a wider choice of decal than may be apparent at first glance. (i.e. 24" Scale letters in 1/32 are 19.05mm tall, the same as 36" in 1/48 scale.) Try searching for "Code Letters" in the Hannants quick search box on their webpage. https://www.hannants.co.uk/search/index.php?search=Code+letters
