Col.
You look to have a good smooth finish on the silver Stu. Never an easy paint to get that with.

PhantomBigStu
Top and fuselage Decals are on, though the hurri missing the rudder ones, trying to get them to conform over the hinge is tricky
PhantomBigStu
All the decals are on as are the tails wheels, pitots and masts

PhantomBigStu
Turns out the spitfire is not done, seems I maanged to not notice I'd used the satin varnish one it (despite the bottle being almost full compared to the 3rd empty matt) Hurricane is now done whilst the spitfire dries
PhantomBigStu
the BOF hurri I did for the STGB has been removed from its hiding place at the back of the BoB shelf in a heinkels shadowto go with the finished pair

PhantomBigStu
Well I've almost finished another couple of builds, and with the mustang STGB starting in a week I need something to fill the time so seems a time for another spit...had hope to pick up the new boxing yesterday but either not been delivered (or not unpacked more likely given the big hornby box in store) so will just have to settle with a bog standard mk1 as I've used all my spare mkii bits and the early canopies and masts. Choices for the scheme are one of 5 BoB examples (ZD-F, QJ-Wii, GR-U, XT-L, DW-K) or the 92sqn one from the starter set. PhantomBigStu
Another spitfire primed now what to do with it, quite fancy painting another in non-standard sky blue of which I have my own very blue mix, or the paler version I use RLM76...evidence suggest N3093 was indeed painted sky blue so guess Ill be picking that one, though possible P9323 Was also not proper sky popular opion seems to put that as 'Eu-de-nil'...decisions
