And this is with the colours weathered together and toned down a bit with filter colour, gloss coat after this followed by the decals.

How did you weather the colours together? It's looking great.

I sprayed a heavily thinned mix of grey all over, lighter than the dark grey but darker than the light. I then post shaded areas with a heavily thinned very dark grey.

Funnily I watched this video last night when trying to get some inspiration for which airframe to do!

Lots of progress made, gloss coat applied and decals are on. Lovely decal sheet with the kit with a comprehensive stencil set and they went on really well. The only issue I've had is there isn't enough contrast between the grey decals for the serial numbers and "MARINE" decal, a combination of the decals needing to be a lighter grey and the dark grey I've applied possibly needing to be a bit darker. This where I'm up to with the matt coat applied.

Looks fantastic, very reality finish! Look forward to staring my Iraqi version after watching your build

It's a great kit, I've really enjoyed the experience.

Ok, so it's been a while since my last update and things have moved along nicely. Nearly finished, just got gear doors and stores to add and a few other wee bits.
