modelling minion
Hi all, Here are some pics of my recently finished Airfix 1/72 CH-53 built and painted as an IRIN RH-53 using decals from Print Scale. For an old kit it went together very well and has lots of nice raised rivets, just like the real thing. More pics can be found on the build log here :- http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234997643-airfix-172-ch-53s-65-double-build-iran-and-israel/ And if you haven't visited the Helicopter GB then go and have a look, there are some fantastic builds on there and it's well worth a visit. There are more piccies on the build log. Thanks for looking, and all comments and criticisms are gratefully received. Craig.

modelling minion
Thanks Tony, I really like the scheme, and they use it on their Sea Kings, UH-1N's and F-27 Friendships as well so I can see a couple more being built in these colours.
Pete in Lincs
Navy sized rivets too! Though I've seen bigger on Russian jets! It looks very impressive.

modelling minion
Thanks again guys. Steve, it would be great if Airfix re-released this one as it was one of their better kits before they went bust. A new tool one would be nice as well, as long as they keep the rivets, unlike on their new Sea Kings. Craig.

Xantippos
Very nice kit, this camo really looks different. It is good to see some more obscure versions of aircraft & helicopters.
