KLOSTER 0
Hello fellow modelers I dont buils frequently car models exept when for a dio with a plane. When I saw Italieri's release of that red racing Fiat of 1924 at 1/12 scale I immediatly thought of a diorama representing the airfix 1/12 Bentley blower racing the Fiat in a sharp turn at Le Mans. I dont think the two cars ever raced each other at Le Mans but historical accuracy is not really the point here. My concern goes to the driver figures, do you guys know where I could find two plausible drivers of the 20's for both kits ? And eventually if you know of another 1/12 model racing car that would be a more accurate contender to the Bentley blower ?
shood23
Mfh make 1/12 f1 drivers from the 50s/60s you could adapt if accuracy isn't a big thing Shaun

cmatthewbacon
I think you're going to struggle to find a "dogfight double..." The real rivals were Alfas or Talbot Lagos (and a couple of other marques that seem to be dedicated Le Mans cars...) There's a Bandai Alfa Grand Sport in 1/12 that might be a starting point, if you can find one. Otherwise, you could get the Heller Bentley (now in a Revell box) in 1/24, and a Heller Alfa 6C 1750, also in 1/24... bestest, M.
