Trumpeter Wildcat 1/32

Recommended Posts

This is a another great plane to build. Trumpeter has done a great work with this. For me it's a barrel with wings.

I tried out an old can, number 124 from Humbrol and it turned out nice like intermediate blue.

Rubber tires still holding out. The plane is handpainted with Humbrol colors only.

Hope you like it.

In the photo of the whole aircraft, the irregular reflections in the paint make it look like actual painted aluminum rather than plastic. The excellently painted Canopy frames, and thin canopies add even more realism. Looks beautiful!

Really great work

I have the early version of this kit in my stash - did it all go together well?

Regards

Dave
